Welcome to Trick Daddy Page

As a southern rap pioneer, Trick Daddy made his mark in hip hop early on appearing on Uncle Luke’s Miami Bass anthem “Scarred.” He made his solo debut in 1997 with Based on a True Story and followed up quickly with the Trina-assisted “Nann Nigga.”

Making Trick, Trina and Slip-N-Slide Records hip hop staples, the mega hit was the first of many. For the next decade Trick delivered platinum and gold releases; www.thug.com, Book of Thugs: Chapter AK Verse 47, Thugs Are Us, Thug Holiday, Thug Matrimony: Married to the Streets, and Back by Thug Demand.

In late 2017, Slip-N-Slide Records announced the release of a Trick Daddy and Trina joint album under the moniker TNT. The TNT project was the focus of the rappers’ Love & Hip Hop: Miami storyline.

Season 1 of Love & Hip Hop: Miami premiered in 2018, garnering 1.8 million views with its first episode, VH1’s best premiere ratings since “VH1 Hip Hop Squares” premiered in March 2017.

In addition to music, the rapper is known for his love of cooking. In early 2019 he opened Sunday’s Eatery

Trick is the true embodiment of Miami. His no holds barred attitude, raw lyrics, quick wit and love for his city are what make him the hood-proclaimed Mayor of Miami.
