
Clarksville, TN, Cason Lee Walker, 63 died from her injuries in a car crash just hours after attending her son’s funeral in Clarksville. There were three other passengers in the vehicle who were also involved in the crash, one of Walker’s sons were in the front seat, and two of her nieces were in the back seat. The wreck occurred around 7:29 p.m on Trenton Road near Branson Way, according to Clarksville police.
According to Michael Patterson, Clarksville Police Spokesperson, Walker was driving a 1992 ford crown victoria and her vehicle failed to merge lanes, causing the car to leave the roadway and collide with a concrete culvert.
The three passengers are said to be ok and stable after undergoing minor surgery according to The Leaf Chronicle.
“They’re going to be OK, they are just pretty shaken up,” Walker’s niece Ourana Jordan, who was not involved in the crash, said.

Earlier that day Walker had just finished attending the funeral of her 36-year old son JaJuan Clark, who was severely wounded on a roadway near the Global Mall in Tennessee, according to Metro Nashville Police Department.
Clark was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a local hospital according to the news press release. It was also noted that the police stated that he “appeared to have been shot” in the press release also. A homicide investigation is ongoing, and no suspect has been identified in the fatal shooting yet.
